If you have been cleaning your tools regularly, or they are brand new, you shouldn’t need to scrub your hand tools to shift dirt or deposits. Simply rinse the soil off digging tools with a garden hose or outside tap and spray some WD-40 Specialist Lawn & Garden Powerful Foaming Cleaner on your tools to help break down resin, sap, dirt, oil, grease, residue and deposits. If there is a build-up, you may need to rub with a brush or a cloth to help shift the dirt and grime. Wash off any excess liquid and dry thoroughly.
