The red straw is made to fit tightly around the nozzle to prevent it being forcefully ejected or blow out causing any damage. We have reviewed the fit of the red straws recently for an easier fit.
Alternatively, you can purchase our Smart Straw or EZ-Reach cans which have the straw built into the can.
